Reconnect back to the roots of your being & reawaken to your wild through ceremony, ritual, nature connection, interconnection, & embarking in a rite of passage.

For those who are longing for a deeper connection to the natural world, to connect to their innate inner knowing & truth, to gather in sacred community, to mark a transition in their life, to release sacred endings & step into fertile beginnings, & to reawaken to their soul.

This retreat is open to all vulva holders.

this is your sacred invitation

Join us on March 24th-26th in the beautiful subtropics of Central Florida as we journey together in ceremony, gather around the fire, communicate with the more-than-human world, witness and hold one another in circle, and reawaken to our innate wild.

Our time together will consist of opening and closing ceremony, rites of passage context, rituals, ecopsychology practices, vocal activation, heart-sharing circles, sound healing, sacred embodiment dances, solo time with the Natural world, organic vegetarian meals, medicinal cacao circle, fireside story telling & song sharing, and integration time nestled in the raw and wild lands of Florida.

This immersion is an overnight primitive camping gathering, allowing you the time and space to truly immerse yourself in the Natural world and integrate your experience.

My love,

We know how disheartening it can feel to live disconnected from the natural world, from your inner knowing, from your inner calling, and from the pulses and rhythms of Mother Earth.

We live within a modern industrialized culture that conditions us with a false narrative that we must fit into box and conform to living lives that are completely separate from Earth’s cycles and rhythms, as well as our own.

Many of us get caught in operating within perpetual summer, where we are always moving to the next task or goal, without actually being able to find the silence and solitude of winter. By continuously operating in perpetual summer and never taking moments of intentional solitude in the forest, we end up shallow, incessantly seeking, looking outside for answers, and aren’t able to hear the deep wisdom from within.

We know and also feel the times we are living in have become increasingly challenging. Many of us have been forced to live disconnected from the Earth because we are simply trying to make ends meet to survive. Many of us have had to numb ourselves to the grief, deep longing, or calling that we feel because the pain of being with this is perhaps too heavy to bare alone. Many of us feel the call to step into the next season or phase in our lives, but are unclear as to how to bring this into fruition. Many of us have gone through the depths, over and over again, and simply long to be held in loving witness in sisterhood. Many of us have forgotten how to listen to the natural call of the wild soul and are longing to find our way back to deep listening.

Our intention in offering this immersion is to provide a healing balm for the times we are living in. It is an opportunity to reconnect to the sacred waters and landscapes within and without. It is a reunion with Soul and Spirit. It is a deep journey of remembrance to where we originated from.

“Go out in the woods, go out.

If you don’t go out in the woods nothing will ever happen and your life will never begin.”

~ Women Who Run With The Wolves

rewilding ::

to return to a more wild or natural state of being.

This is your invitation…

To pause, turn inward, and reconnect to the land that holds you.

To mark a sacred transition through collective ceremony.

To return to your natural essence and your innate wild.

To open your heart, reveal your true nature, plant your feet into the Earth, and revel in the great mystery it is to be alive during these times.

To find rejuvenation, solace, and soul regeneration in the Natural world.

To awaken to what longs to be heard from deep within.

To activate the awakening of what longs to be expressed through your creative vessel.

To reconnect to your body, your ecosystem, your ancient wisdom, your unique genius, and allow yourself to be witnessed, just as you are.

To commune with the Natural world around you.

To tune out to tune into what longs to be heard in the silence of the forest.

welcoming the land

We deeply value the natural wisdom that a specific ecosystem has to offer. We believe in each ecosystem has its own intelligence and honor the land with reverence as such.

We are participants in this ecosystem and in being so, we ask for permission to connect and receive the medicine that the land has to offer, while giving back in ways that are in the utmost alignment.

We believe this is our part in decolonizing and greeting the land in its aliveness, allowing the act of participating with the land to be in full integrity.

As we prayed and ask for permission to host women on these lands of consisting of natural oak hammocks, river swamps, cypress ponds, flatwoods, and sandhills, and native flora & fauna, we were gratefully welcomed with a yes.

We hold this permission with the utmost respect and integrity, only promising to further assist in the preservation of this land.

Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve

Green Swamp is a critical recharge area for the Floridian aquifer as well as the source of the Hillsborough, Withlacoochee, Ocklawaha and Peace rivers. Most of the landscape is pine flatwoods, cypress domes, and hardwoods swamps. These natural communities support populations of an estimated 330 species of wildlife.

We wish to acknowledge the indigenous peoples who lived and took stewardship of this land. We recognize and honor the original peoples of the Tocabaga, Ocale, Mayaka, and Talakchopco tribes, as well as their ancestors. We acknowledge the painful history that exists here and the removal from their homelands. We will participate in land acknowledgment and blessing as part of this immersion.

Here you will find yourself completely secluded in the heart of Florida’s wild nature, nestled underneath an oak hammock and surrounded by a cypress swamp, as you are held in a container of safety, sisterhood, unconditional support, and guidance to return to your innate wild.

Who is this immersion for?

The woman longing to reconnect to her inner wisdom, to her true North, to her deeper calling, to the compass within.

The woman embarking in a transition in her life, ready to sever from what longs to be released and step into fertile new beginnings.

The woman who is ready to primitive camp, feel the mud between her toes, cry into the branching arms of a tree, and sing her songs around the campfire.

The woman who wants to be seen, held, witnessed, and supported by a community of like-minded women.

The woman who is ready to not attend just another retreat, but intentionally mark this profound moment in her life and embrace the great mystery of life in the heart of the forest.

The woman who longs to reconnect to her innate wild - within and without.

The woman who wants to feel the pulse of the Earth, the rhythm of the river, the whispers of the trees, the secrets of the fire, and the medicine within her own soul.

Mandalynn Freeman

Mandalynn is born from the Florida Cypress, is an earth-tender, underworld-dweller, ceremonialist, ritualist, permaculturalist, inner landscape alchemist, and rites of passage guide. Growing up within the Jewish faith, she was born into ritual and marking seasonal shifts. Many bioregions have called her to listen deeply to their medicine and bring it back to her community, including the ancient Waipio Valley on the Big Island of Hawai’i, to the upland desert of Taos, New Mexico, to the ancient Cypress Swamp of Florida.

Through her training in psychology, ecopsychology, permaculture, rites of passage, and leadership, she has held the container and practice of reconnecting individuals to their inner and outer landscapes for 7+ years. She assists women through seasonal rites of passage journeys, as they mark profound transition in their lives through Nature connection, ritual, and ceremony, creating fertile regeneration in their lives.

Meet Your Holistic Chef

We are blessed and grateful that our beloved sister Jamie Fries will be sharing her holistic cooking expertise with us.

She will be bringing in her medicine of cooking delicious organic vegetarian meals to support the process of rewilding throughout the immersion.

Our prayer for you…

We pray that this immersion allows you to feel nourished, supported, ignited, and inspired to bring your sacred medicine to your own ecosystem, to mark a profound transition in your life, to allow yourself to be fully seen for who you are, and to always follow your true North.

Our intention is to provide the container, tools, and resources to allow for profound transformation to unfold within your inner landscape as it ripples out to the rest of your community and the greater world.

We long for a regenerative future and deeply believe in the life-long transformative power of reconnecting to the natural world as we gather together in community.

We invite you to bring your prayers to the forest, to lay down your sorrows and allow her to hear you, to listen to the pulse of the Earth, to ask her the deep-bellied questions you are holding, to let her hold you, and to find your medicine in the seclusion of the Green Swamp.
